This space is available for club members to advertise (Services, Items for sale or events)

| Note if members take charter boat spaces on an "individuals basis" or enter competitions, as long as at least two club members are
present and a report is promptly submitted to the fish recorder, the trip will count towards the "Annual Species Hunt" and the "Boat Angler of the Year"
competitions.

| Any fish caught during the year by a currently PAID-UP member is eligible for the annual prizes (Cod Cup, Tope Tankard etc.).
Please report any such to the fish recorder promptly. If the report is delayed too long it may become impossible to verify and therefore not be allowable.

| Bookings for boat places on most one-day club charters are initially opened to MEMBERS
actually present at the club
meeting a full THREE MONTHS before the date of the trip. Members not present at the meetings can
contact the boat organiser to book places after this time. Extra "speciality" trips are sometimes arranged
and bookings for these are taken further in advance, as are bookings for longer "holidays" and these, in addition,
normally require a deposit to be paid with the booking.

The website is normally only updated once or twice a month.
Roy is the boss of the bookings (or if he is not available Jim, or Mick will be looking after the bookings diary).
If in doubt an email copied to all 3 of them will usually get an answer.

| If you want to know what the weather will be like (up to 7 days ahead), one of the websites that a lot of
skippers uses is XCWEATHER but there are many others (windguru, met office etc).
but things change and you always need to call in to BOAT SECRETARY (or a deputy) the evening before a trip in case it is off or on against
your expectation |
